We are a committed segment of the church body meeting in a study of the Bible and it's message to the citizenry of Midland. This is an open study of the Bible itself in discussions ranging from the 'old world' to our 'daily experiences' right here, right now. Opinions are welcome and discussion is free and open. and we have donuts

Christian Knots study and discuss items of topical importance for couples and singles in the Church Home. Each visitor is welcomed with open arms. The bowline knot is the lifesaving knot just as the Bible and Christian Life are the lifesaving functions of the God whom we serve.

Corner Classroom insdie the Courtyard facing South on the west end, opposite Grace Works
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." James 1:5
Our class is basically retirees (except for the teacher) so there is a lot of experience and stories of Christian Life we can share. The main focus has been refreshing our knowledge of the Books of the Bible from Genesis to Revelations. Currently we are in Isaiah which either means we are thorough or perhaps very slow! At any rate, we are looking at God's Word and how relevent it is today.
Children’s Classes

Kindergarten-3rd grade
K-3 is taught by Sarah Griffin in a classroom located near the nursery. Currently we are learning about important people of the Bible. Each lesson involves a story, song, snack, craft, and memory verse.
4-6th grade Children’s Church Children’s Church meets during the weekly service with the exception of Communion Sunday. All children grades K-6 are invited to join Sarah Griffin when “Jesus Loves Me” is played in the sanctuary. During Children’s Church we read a story, play a game, complete a craft, and sing some songs. The children are able to continue learning about the Bible in a structured environment that focuses on hands on experience. Children can be picked up in the classroom near the nursery after service is finished.
4-6th grade is taught by Dee Benson in the orange room located on the children’s wing. Dee has been teaching this age group for many years and has a great deal of knowledge that he creatively shares with children.
