Pastor Randy Thomas came to St. Paul United Methodist Church from Booker United Methodist Church in June 2008. He and his wife Brenda have two children; Elizabeth, who lives in Oklahoma City, and Stephen, a graduate of West Texas A&M. Randy was raised just north of Vernon, Texas. Throughout his early years, he attended Fargo United Methodist Church. After his conversion to Christ at age of eighteen, he experienced the call of God upon his life to enter the ministry.  He graduated from Midwestern University in 1977. Later he received his master’s degree from Liberty University. He is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program at Trinity Seminary.

After receiving the filling of the Holy Spirit, he was licensed and ordained in the Assemblies of God serving two pastorates and a chaplaincy at the Wichita Falls State Hospital. In 1996, he returned to the United Methodist Church by pastoring in the Northwest Texas Conference. He has pastored charges in Silverton/Vigo Park, Chillicothe, Lazbuddie/Oklahoma Lane, and Booker before coming to St. Paul. Randy can be contacted at rthomas@stpaulumctx.net

Shelley Kuhlmann is the Mother's Day Out (MDO) Director and the Nursery Supervisor. Shelley is married to Eli and they have two children, Cody and Colton. Shelley has been MDO Director since 2000 and has been apart of the nursery staff since before than. The Nursery is available to children pre-k age and lower for most church functions and MDO is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9AM to 2:30PM for pre-k age and lower.
